| I have not been formally trained or educated in photography or art. In fact, I have discovered my interest in photography while pursuing my bachelors degree in business information technology. I have abandoned the career path of the IT industry and followed my gut to step into the business of fashion photography. Learning while on the assignment, as well as absorbing information from the books & internet, it was pretty much a trial and error process. I met a friend who we became close and he pretty much showed me the ropes in large scale, commercial photography. I don't have an idol photographer so to speak, but I like to immerse myself with interesting photography work and learn from it. I am a visual person, not very good with words. I love to read, but images excite me. I challenge myself in every assignment to create images that are different, not better. After all, photographers are creative beings with an appetite for change. |
